Okay, now this is VERY interesting. I really like the way you put together concept images like this. :) I've noticed you have a lot of them. Keep up the great work.

Hi, can you tell me why you think its a conceptual image, i mean thats great but i feel my work is not conceptual enough, and i want it to be more, so id be cool to know why you see this as conceptual? :)
:icongothitink:
I can only give you my opinion piece by piece (meaning image by image) This one in particular caught my eye because it's not every day that you find a girl in a shopping cart - basically the concept that screamed it's way out of this image into my head after looking at this was very shopping related. The idea that you infused shopping with a girl stood out because of the nature of the ideas (yes several) behind it. Beauty in a basket = the relation to makeup women buy in stores. Problems in a basket = people often buy to avoid life. Girl in a basket relating to be careful what you wish to become. I mean I could go on and on and on, but it all boils down to a fun concept of evil in the shopping cart which takes away our freedom to be real. :) That's just my opinion of the concept of the image which is often very off of what they photographer (yourself in this case) could actually want to portray.

wow, thats all very cool. i struggle with being able to talk about an image a lot, thats why my image descriptions are always so short. thanks heaps. i can see what your saying with this shot in particular now. :)

You're welcome. And btw I appreciate that you were actually interested to read what myself as the viewer had found conceptual about this, because I find quite often find that photographers don't want my opinion because I'm not a photographer.

No way, i want to see what all sorts of audiences feel or read from my images, i prefer to here it from people other than photographers cause sometimes there too opinonated because they shoot a certain way and think you should too, im glad you took the time to explain. sometimes when friends have told me what they see in an image i get so much more from the image myself because i see more, and it helped me a lot when i was in uni too :)

That's a relief to hear. I'll try to be more descriptive of your work when I browse it now, just because I know you appreciate it from a non-photographer. :)
